Spring colts

Okay, so I spoke too early on the beautiful world post the other day. After posting that, later that evening, Jaynee came running in the house and said, "Mom, there's two baby horses across the street". I didn't believe her until I saw it with my very own two eyes. Sure enough there were some new colts! I hurried back in the house to grab my camera. And she and I headed over to the stalls. We found this light tan one and a creamy white colored one. They were so cute to watch. This tan one was by far the most spunkiest colt of the two. He (I actually didn't check but I'm assuming he was a HE) would hide behind his mom and peek fromunderneath and then he would jump out in the middle of the stall and start jumping and running in circles. It was so funny! It was almost like he was showing off. He did this probably 3 or 4 times while we were there. The white colt wouldn't do anything but stay close to his mom so I wasn't able to get more pictures of him. I got this one just as we showed up. From there he just stayed behind his mom. Anyways, just thought I'd share these photos just for the heck of it. I forgot to ask the owners who were there with them if the other colts from last year were here with the other horses so I could see how much they have grown. But like I said, I forgot. It was just for my curiousity anyways. I was lucky enough to get these cuties.

Those are such awesome photos. Your camera takes such clear pictures. You could honestly be a photographer for Horse and Hound Magazine!

We'll have to go check out the baby horses! Thanks for sharing the photos.
