Preschool Graduation

From the looks of some of my friend's blogs, everyone is posting pictures of their child's preschool graduation. So in the spirit of it all, here are the pictures from Jaynee's preschool graduation held last week.
Jaynee was so lucky to attend (what I thought) was one of the best preschools in town. She was fortunate enough to be a part of a small group of kids who benefited directly from her teacher. Her teacher, Becky Chase, was the cutest teacher I've ever known. She did such great things with these kids. Each week she attended class, she would teach them a new letter of the alphabet, a new book, a new song and made sure they practiced, practiced that letter for that week. This was the first preschool where one of my kids had homework every week. Jaynee loved her teacher and we can't thank her enough for all her hardwork she put forth for each of the kids she taught. She will truly be missed!

For there graduation ceremony, each child sang a solo. Yes, a solo... at the microphone for every parent to hear (whether they wanted to or not). And I really can't say it was actual singing for some of them. Most of the songs sounded like screaming instead. Which was kind of annoying, but yet so very cute!

I was so very proud of her for getting up in front of everyone to sing her song. She sang "Polly Wolly Doodle" ...all the day...you know the song. I looked up the lyrics to the song on the internet and they were a little difficult to remember. She kind of struggled with the song, but now I can see why.
Jaynee receiving her graduation diploma from her cute and awesome teacher, Mrs. Chase. And getting graduation hugs from Daddy after their ceremony. Grandma Hinton was able to attend with us. We appreciate her efforts to come see her.
Jaynee is so excited to turn 5 in July. And of course, she can't wait for Kindergarten to start in the Fall so she can finally attend the same school as Kason. She's excited to be able to ride the bus to school too. We're so proud of Jaynee and her accomplishments. She's been so much fun to watch as she grows and learns new things every day.
