My first teenager

Hey, I'm back! I'm really feeling the need to blog. Although, I must backtrack to keep you up to date with what's been going on. So bear with me as I try to get some posts put together.
In February, my oldest turned 13! I'm officially a mother to a teenager. It's hard to believe, but it's been fun watching her turn into a young lady. Kaylee has been such a great help to me around the house with cooking and babysitting her siblings when needed. She's such a good girl at school and gets good grades every trimester. She's one I've stopped worrying about in the homework department because she's so good to get it done herself and take on that responsibility without me. She loves going to Young Women's every week and her leaders tell me how much they love her. They say she brings such positive feelings into the room whenever she's around. We as her parents, are so proud of her and the choices she makes on a daily basis to be a good person. I truly enjoy my relationship with her. I want her to know (because I know she'll read this) that she can come to us for anything. Especially in this day and age when temptations are at an all time high. I'm glad to have a good relationship with my mother and I hope that she knows it's okay to have a good one with her mother. As there are many girls her age out there who don't. We look forward to many more "teenage" birthdays to come and hope she enjoys this time in her life as much as most of us have. These are some of the best years of her life! Happy Birthday, Kaylee!
