I just wanted to post something about our little mommy mainly for journaling and scrapbooking purposes. This picture was taken by her Auntie Jen...thank you.Jaynee has always been our little mommy ever since she was really young. I believe it was around 18 months old that her love for little babies or just dolls in general started to grow. She loves them so much that she just sits and stares at them or wants to go closer to them. She's in awe of them. Unlike her older sister, Kaylee who never wanted anything to do with babies or dolls until she was about 4 or 5 years old. This was the same little girl at age 3 that would take off out the door over and over again and end up at her friend's house a few streets away after Kason was born. It scared me to death and sometimes brought me to tears not knowing where she was.
I love the way that Jaynee pays such good attention to her baby dolls on a daily basis. Everything she does is so nice and neat. She has always been into dressing up and walking around in her princess shoes, carrying purses and making sure her babies are dressed just as cute. Her Grandma Lynne was a big dolly person as a child. And delights in Jaynee's same love of dolls too. They both have such good motherly instincts. Here are some pictures I've taken in the last month or so of Jaynee's mothering abilities.
At the end of a long day of being a mommy, a mommy has got to have a break. Isn't this sweet? By the way...the red mark is Jaynee's hand drawn version of a headband. That little stinker! I also love to listen to her talk to her babies from the other room. Unfortunately, she has picked up on some of my motherly quirks and it comes back to me in the way she mothers her babies. A word to the wise, you better watch what you say to your kids or how you say it!
We love how individual each of our children are. Each of them have such fun personalities and it's been fun to watch them change and grow over the years. Jaynee will soon be five this year and starting kindergarten. Where does the time go? We hope she continues to love being our little mommy. And someday a real mommy. But we won't jump that far ahead yet. From this mommy to our little mommy...we love you!

Okay, that is my favorite post so far! Jaynee is so sweet. My girls just love her too. As a fellow thumb sucker...TJ likes her too!
I just love this little girl. She is so sweet and wonderful in every way. What a great journal entry! These are the things you will look back on when she's all grown up. This stage only lasts a little while. I love how you captured all the cute things she does with her dolls.
Ditto everything Jen said. That is so adorable. Great job with taking pictures of little moments that capture the essense of a child. That is true photo journaling!
