His birthday was back on the 30th of March. Which happened to be the same day that our nephew, Ryan was having his family mission farewell dinner at the Pizza Factory. We thought the idea was grand since we didn't have to pay to go out to dinner. The Pizza Factory provided the dinner for free because Ryan was their employee. So it turned out to be a double celebration "on the house". There was everything you could imagine, one pizza after the next, breadsticks, cheese bread, and sodas...one after the next. I think we ate like royalty there.
After dinner, on our way home, we decided to stop at our new favorite cupcake spot 25 Main. They make gourmet cupcakes that are so delightful! Plus, a birthday isn't a birthday unless you have cake...of the small kind, right?
We brought them home so that we could light a candle for Kerry to blow out. He decided that he was going to sit about 4 feet away and see if he could blow out the candle from there. What a clown! So he huffed and he puffed....
AND GAVE UP...he decided in his old age this wasn't possible...sorry dear!
